Hi, I’m Rita.

“Did you actually make this?” It’s a question I get all the time, and is usually followed by, “Wow! You need to open a bakery!” So, here we are.

The kitchen has always been my happy place. From the time my mom propped me on a stepstool and showed me how to measure flour I was hooked. Our kitchen had recipes taped to the inside of every cabinet, but I baked so much I had 90% of them memorized.

I come from a family of bakers, from my namesake, Grandma Rita (whose cinnamon rolls are a Christmas tradition) to my mom – also Rita  (whose lemon bars are divine). I have built a repertoire of classic recipes that have been passed on, tweaked, and perfected.

With generations of loving support from friends and family, I am proud to introduce you to Rita’s Recipe. I hope you love what I make.
